Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine for the month of December.
The Chapel celebrated the feast of Our Lady on December 12th with an "open house" and Guadalupe Festival. A Sung High Mass was offered in honor of Our Lady, the patroness of the Americas.
Father Brown pointed out in his sermon that Our Lady visited Juan Diego not so that souls could enjoy a cultural and social event, but to guide the Indians of Mexico to the One True Church of her Divine Son.
The people of Mexico were involved with devil worship; Our Lady came to crush the "serpent God," and lead souls to the way of salvation: it is always
"to Jesus through Mary."
